Just found out I'm going to have a baby
    Hello everyone,
I just found out I'm pregnant, and I have been sick for about a week. I though I had the flu or a 24 hour bug or something. I couldn't believe what the doctor told me next, she said well your going to have a baby. I started too laugh, because I didn't believe her she was right because now I feel twiching in my stomach.I just want to say if you are planning to have a family start with a preconception visit first then start taking prenantal viamins you will be pregnant in no time.;)

I am glad you are pregnanat and want a baby. But I will say no it is not normally that easy, Many women have to plan and work on when is the best time for sexual activity and even then if they even do get pregnant it can take months and months.

    Hi, Jnet,
    Congratulations!!
I am so happy for you. Many pregnancies are not planned at all, hoping they will never happen in many instances. I am glad your is planned.
I do agree with your previous answer, that just doing what you said will not always work. That is why there are adoptions, and many other remedies for those who cannot get pregnant. Best of luck.

Congratulations on the pregnancy. I have a boy and a girl. My daughter was an angel as an infant, but my son on the other hand is the devil. They are complete opposites.

I was thinking about a third, but now, not so sure.

    I wish you the best!!

Typically it usually ebbs off around 12weeks give or take.. unless it's more than one and decides to hang on for awhile longer. There are a few exceptions to the "typical" duration to m/s but it's very rare and you shouldn't worry too much about it until after 14 weeks. My m/s lasted until about 16weeks off and on but with twins that normal... or so I'm told. You will probably enjoy the second trimester more than the first and the third. Lol. It's pregnancy. You can try crackers to help with the m/s although they didn't work for me... the only thing that worked for me was beef jerky. I don't have a clue as to why. Don't let your stomach get empty and that will help. Other than that it's a wait and see game. Don't worry the first trimester goes by pretty quick, the second more quick, the third drags on for the expecting mom. It's all the anticipation and anxiousness in the last one that drags it out so much. I'd tell you not to worry but your going to anyway no matter what anyone says, including your dr. Make the best of it and listen to your dr. Let me know if you have any more questions. Just try and relax and let everything progress without too much stress... good luck..

HI Myth, thank you for your help I will be trying the crackers again,so far 7up helps me but I just have to keep buying it. You are right as long as I eat small meals I'll feel fine I just can't wait until this feeling is over, I see my obgyn doctor on may 16th I don't know why the appointment is so far away. I well keep you posted.

They usually won't see you until your about eight weeks... that's pretty normal. The only reason that they would see you before hand would be trouble in previous pregnancy's or if your using fertility drugs to help with conception. Dec 13th is a great day to have a baby... lol.. that's my oldests b-day. Born on Friday the 13th, turned 6mo on Friday the 13th, and 6yrs on Friday the 13th... it's really a good luck day for me... lol...

Hi dear, check out the link above.. It will get you started in learning what's to come. It helps you understand the symptoms, stages, and other things of interest. As soon as I get on my other computer with the other links, I'll pass them on.

I guess my daughter was lucky, she passed over the nausea part and is due in August. I guess she'll progably have other difficulties - her baby hiccups a lot, and we can see it, so each Mom feels differently during pregnancy.

Hope your's goes smoothly along and that the nausea passes soon, so that you can enjoy the little fun things your little one will surprise you with. At five months, they even hear and taste - yup, they suck their thumbs, and react to loud noises.. So, check the site, and see what awaits you.

Please keep us posted, and lots of FUN!

It's really not so much different than having a single baby. You grow faster but hey that sometimes happens with a singleton too. Actually because you are a twin and your mother had a set your at a higher "risk" to have a predisposition to having twins, sorry to tell you. No one in my family has had twins that I know of, Here's the catch though... My mom was adopted and my dad I don't know. So I actually can't trace my biological family history back past my mother... My sis and my mom both had their tubes tied before the age of twenty five so I'm the "oldest" one to actually have children at the ripe old age of 27 and they have said that mine are faturnal which has been shown to be hereditary on the mothers side but can be passed from father to daughter. It makes sense I guess in that that type of twins is garnered from fertilizing two different eggs and both of those implanting. It's amazing. I love these little guys already they do make me uncomfortable and have to go a lot and I don't think that I should be seeing them move yet but once in awhile I do. I rest all I can and that seems to be a lot since dr. won't let me work due to edema *swelling of the face, hands, and legs* and not be confused with anemia *low iron count*. Now I'm just counting down the days until we find out what they are... We only have six days till the big 20 week u/s... lol... I hope your getting some rest and don't worry your going to be over the nausea in no time... lol.

I was looking through my bookmarks and thought you might like to see some of the sites that I have enjoyed and find somewhat informative. Though if you look hard you'll find some discrepencies in the information but they aren't off by much. I was looking for info on twins when I came across most of these, not much info on twin pregnancy's at least not factual... here you go. Hope you like them.

Just so you know it's also more likely that you will conceive twins with the more pregnancies that you have... I'm crossing my fingers that it's only one. I have more sites after you get bored with those... ;) I'm already bored with bed rest... lol. Maybe I'll write a book or something. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
