I'm 23 my girlfriend just turned 17 ,we both live in Maryland, we been dating for about a year since we r OK to date because in Maryland aoc is 16.. we barely having sex but somehow we are doing great.. but the other day I read somewhere that if you talking on the ph with a minor who's under 18 regardless of AOC.. if you talk about sex, you could get in trouble.. is that true ? So I can have sex with her outside legally but not on the phone ? And what kind of trouble exactly?

Simple solution do not talk about sex on the phone or internet. If there is a law like that it is to crack down on predators but I wouldn't take the chance even if it is my girlfriend.
AND no you can not have sex with her unless you check your state law and it is legal for a 23 year old to have sex with a 17 year old. Most states age of consent is 16 or 17 the law is but not with more than 4 years older so you need to find that out.

Yes, it concerns me for you comment we are not having a lot of sex but still doing OK, as if you needed to have sex a lot to have a good relationship, which should be based on all sorts of other issues.

It would just concern me what does her parents think about this? Are you welcome in their home, do you pick her up there?

I meant to say we not having sex at all anymore.. last time was about 5 months ago.. n not planning to do it anytime soon.. n we are doing OK as in not complainning at all because I don't think we need sex to have good relationship.. and also I checked the age of consent and it is legal for us to have sex or date but her parents are not happy with me yet because they didn't think I'd wait for her until she's 18 n kind of still thinking I was dating her for sex. So what I'm doing rite now is waiting.. n kind of talking on the phone most of the time, we don't go out . We barely c each other if we do.. I don't pick her up anywhere.. she works next door of where I work.. thats when we c each other.. but when we talk, sometimes we kind of talk dirty.. that's what I'm worried about.. could it get me in trouble at all?
