Why am I having 2 periods in one month?
I have just started taking the pill which I took on the 1st day ofmy period this month... it stopped as usual 5days later and I started having unprotected sex on the 7th day, but its now a week later and I have been getting brown spotting and now red blood, is this normal with being on the pill?
    Please help thank you

I think you are supposed to wait one month from your period when you start taking the pill until the next one before relying on it as your choice of contraception (keep in mind only condoms prevent STIs) Did you experience spotting between periods before starting the pill?

If you just started the pill then you need to take it as directed for at least a month without missing pills before it is working correctly and before having unprotected sex. Read the pamphlet they include with your medicines it helps. I have never missed pills and after the first month or so your fine just as long as you do not miss pills. I have never experienced anything like this but in the information pamplets it does say you may experience spoting, stomach aches, headaches, nausea, etc. in the first few months of starting the pill. I got all the info I needed from the information pamplets they include when you refill your medicine.
