    Womb & Left thigh pain
    Hi,

I lost my baby back February, I was 4 months pregnant and had to go through labour at this stage. Just before I lost my baby I started getting left thigh pain, just niggling pain. When my periods went back to normal, I started getting pain in the womb area, I've had this each month, which I thought was probably to do with what I'd been through. So for the last 6mths I've had thigh and womb ache, which is becoming more persistent. I have had a water sample taken for urinary trac, this was clear, I've had routine checks for Chalm and Gon, again clear. It's quite uncomfortable now. I have had antibiotics for what the doctor thought I may have a urinary tract infection, these did not help. I'm now on Amoxicillan for dental pain, I know these tablets are for other things too, but I don't think this problem is going to clear up. I'm worried if it's something more serious. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am going to go back to the doctors but thought I'd ask just in case anyone has any ideas?

    Hello Lara,

I am so sorry you lost your baby.

I think this is linked to the miscarriage in some way, to me it sounds like nerve pain, or even a trapped nerve.
I think it could be Sciatica, which if it is will take some time to settle down.
If this is Sciatica, the pain can start in your back and travel right down your leg, if your back hurts then the pain could be felt through to you abdomen etc

Anti- inflammatory drugs will help tremendously...

Maybe go back to your GP if it continues suggest Sciatica and see what he says.

    Hope you feel better soon
