    Difference between MPCB and MCB
What is the exact difference between MPCB and MCB. In some cases I saw MCB is used for the protection of motor. What are the technical and construction difference between these two.

Mpcb means 'motor protection circuit breaker' the name it self tells that motor protection means it has builit in provision for overload at stiputalted and setted current of the range selector. This range selector is built on the mpcb's.
Where as mcb is a miniature circuit breaker. But do not accurately provide for over load protection. It has no setting device to set current. It is fixed for some rage. It provides basically short ciruit protection. Hence mcb is never considered / to be considered for motors for their over load protections. But only mpcb to be considred.

MCB is use to shot-circuit & overload protection.but MPCB is use to shot-circuit,over load & thermal overload proction.
