I have a hot tub currently wired at my home in the following configuration:
50amp breaker at the main panel to
50 amp GFCI breaker mounted outside, on the house near tub to
Spa main panel inside tub which has a 110v GFCI module.
My issue is that sometimes when I kick on the heater while the pump is running, the 110 module will trip. But not always though.
The question is, can I eliminate this 110v module because I'm ground fault protected by the 220v GFCI breaker mounted on the house? Is that accurate?
Thanks for your help.
