Hello. I'm 36 yrs. Old. I had a pap test two months ago. It came back cells were normal but a bit of inflammation. My dr started me on a round of flagyl. I had noticed spotting off and on for a week and sometimes two weeks. After taking medicine my next two periods started and stopped on time. No spotting unless it was a day or two. No this period was normal. Started on time and stopped on time, but this is my third day after my bleeding stopped, I've had a brownish,tan,rusty,pinkish discharge. Only when I wipe. It's not even enough to wear a pantyliner, but do you think my infection is back or could it be where I started back to work this month and was on my feet all day long. I work in the school system and was off all summer long when I had the infection, so I thought it might be from getting back to work and getting used to being up all day. My periods have always been normal. I've lost 40lbs and since then I've noticed my periods are heavy for the first and second day. What do you think could be the reason for spotting or is spotting for 3-5 days after my period stops normal? Pleaseeeeee help. I'm a worry wort.

That same thing happened to me before. My period would be over but I was not working that week and when I would stand on my feet as a server I tended to spot. It was the brownish color because it was from my period that had ended. When I was moving around the blood that could not come out did.
