    Missed misscarriage inquiry.
So this is TURELY about my friend. She got pregnant, but is absolutely not ready for a child so wanted to terminate the pregnancy. Then found out she was 17 weeks. Along. After the clinic turned her down because of how far along she was, she said she never felt the baby move, except for the day she went to the clinic and the nurse pushed on her stomach before the ultrasound. Her boyfriend used a stethoscope and couldn't hear the babies heartbeat, and she had serious abdominal pain, but ABSOLUTELY NO BLEEDING, then she said it hurt 2 lay on her stomach as well so... could that mean she had a missed misscarriage??

    Thanks for you're the response.

If she is that far along and miscarried there would be blood and a lot of it. If the baby is not moving, that could indicate it is stillborn (died in utero). She needs to go to her OB right away. If she is not ready for the baby, there are many loving couples that will give the baby a home.

It is possible that the boyfriend did not put the stethescope in the right place. Even with a fetal heart rate monitor it can be hard to find the heartbeat at 17 weeks. Also, if this is her first pregnancy, and I assume it is, chances are slim that she would be feeling any movement at all at 17 weeks.

So... it is possible that she is still pregnant with a healthy baby.

She needs to go to an ob right away to be checked out properly.
