I am a Christian and have been studying religion etc for quite sometime. I think I have a strong faith and try to live as good as possible... I obviously have my weaknesses..
I really need to know more about what the church says about oral sex, masturbation etc
I mean I feel like what I've studied is too closed up as in.. There's no sign of hey lets talk about this and discuss it.
Please christians wit strong faith please give me good advice! Heheh

Any sex outside of marriage ( or at least a committed relationshiop planned for long term) is wrong.

So any sex would have to be with your spouse ( husband or wife)

And no there is no real "discussion" you can't make a deal with right or wrong, people try by starting their own religion or by changing the beliefs their church teaches, but it does not change what the truth is.

So there really is no discuss it, as in allowing one to change their beliefs, when there is only right or wrong

This is what bothers me about organized religion. I find it interesting how so many religions have created rules to govern people and yet each religion thinks their rules if followed will keep you in favor of God. I mean honestly, have you read Leviticus? My opinion is religion makes the rules, not God. Religious leaders make the rules and mandate them to control their church members. If you keep a flock in check they will not stray far. If you make them believe they are dirty or sinning they will tow the line you set before them.
Maybe it would be best to not listen to what others say about God and Jesus and find out what the original scriptures say. I would doubt you would find such strict nonsense. I do not think Jesus was celibate nor sober. But this is my opinion.
I also think Jesus would have been appauled by the things christians do in his name. Do you really think in his short life all of these rules were his idea?

I am a Christian. Your own particular Church would have the answers for you, that would be in line with your own Church's teachings. Do you have Deacons or Elders? Or some other terms for those who teach others in your church? Any man would be happy to answer your questions, if you are not comfortable talking with a woman from your church.

I am a female fredg but I still feel uncomfortable having to speak to any one here. We are very few people and everyone knows everyone. Even confession I hate that too wish I could confess over the internet I think more people would confess!

It's a safe bet to say that many people getting married today in a church have had premarital sex and the wrath of God has not smitten them. You are free to make your own decisions in my opinion, as long as you are a good person who does good things and treats people well then don't beat yourself up over it. Just make sure it isn't all superficial, that you really have some form of bond and respect with the person you are with.

Confession is a one-on-one, face-to-face. It's personal and should be that way. Confession over an online chat, forum, etc, is not the same thing. Facing someone, listening to them, talking, is entirely different than a computer. Making confessions for wrong doings clears your mind, your soul, and gives you strength to face whatever decisions you need to make.
You have a very good question, and I do hope you can get over the "nervousness" of being face-to-face with someone. Best of luck.

First, while we do "know" each other to a certain extent, that knowing rarely extends beyond the bounds of this site. For example, I consider myself a friend of NeedKarma, yet I have never met him, wouldn't know him if I saw him don't know where he lives, how old he is etc. The only thing we really know about you is that you have chosen Stars for your name and that you are female (only because you supplied that info).

This is one of the advantages of using a site like this. You are pretty much anonymous. So it gives you the opportunity to ask questions you would be embarrassed to ask of someone you know personally.
