    Is it really cramps?
Ok So what do pregnancy cramps feel like, is it the same as menstrual cramps or not? I have had like sharp pains that last about 2 minutes and then go away, my menstrual cramps last for HOURS and they are crampy all over not pin point pain? Any answers:?

These kind of cramps are usually related to ovulation. Pregnancy cramps, if you mean Braxton-Hicks contractions, don't start until around the latter portions of pregnancy, and earlier in a woman who has had children before.

Well I ovulated about 1 week ago and have been taking Ovulation Test and it shows I'm not ovulatings.. so I don't know... I don't mean Braxton Hicks contractions, I just know that some women have cramping early on that they mistake for menstrual cramps... and was wondering if any one could describe these for me!

It's hard to describe these as cramps, pains, etc, are very subjective. Meaning they are different for every woman. What one woman describes as pains, another may describe as cramps, etc. So, there is no possible way to effectively describe these for you.

Again, you are in the waiting zone. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

YEAH this "waiting zone" is NOT FUN!! But thank you anyway! My hubby and I are going on a second honeymoon in a few weeks so who knows what could happen if this time wasn't "the time"

Hun, you have been trying so hard for so long. I know this sounds corny, but have you ever thought about not trying?

I have a friend who tried for over 2 years, they eventually adopted... THEN 12 weeks after the adoption was final they found out she was 5 weeks pregnant. Why? The stress of trying was over.

My mother tried for 7 years before she conceived me (albiet 4 years ago), and from then on she was Fertile Myrtle.

I don't get how you "dont try" its been almost a year now! We have taken a break from trying when we really don't try but then I look back on it and I think how in the world if you have NO idea your ovulation date will you get pregnant if your not trying! I just started taking vitex, because my period have been kind of crazy lately, and that is how I FINALLY got a positive ovulation test!! Before then I took one everyday with negatives every time, so at least I know I am ovulating now with the vitex! Be and my hubby stay pretty busy and we are kind of in the mindset now that whenever it happens it happens I don't really hold my breath anymore like I used too... ya know what I mean?

Girlfriend I NEVER tired and I have 4 kids!! Two of which are "miracle" babies... should never have gotten pregnant in the first place.

Stress that comes with trying increases hormones that actually prohibit implantation.

Since it's been a year, I would highly recommend visiting a high risk OB/GYN who can test you for things like Lupus or Factor V Leiden, as well as a number of other things such as endometriosis or PCOS.

Yeah I get your point about not trying its just so hard to "not" think about it, you know! As far as the DR I am scared to death they will tell me that I can't have children! That will litteraly devestate me, so I am just going with the flow! I am the oldest of 7 and live for children it would crush our world if we couldn't have a baby!

Sweetie, it may be devastating, but it's not the end of the world. My MIL had 17 miscarriages and only one live birth, she adopted 3 others. It is IMPERATIVE that you find out about your fertility health. If you don't you will stress so much you will NEVER get pregnant.

Both you and your husband may need a fertility work up. Remember infertility is not the end of the world, it is an opportunity for a child who needs loving parents like you.
