I have chipmunks that have invaded my garden and are feasting on the green beans and cucumbers. We have a fence up but that does not deter them. What can I do so we can eat our harvest?

Please don't use the pepper... it causes blindness in squirrels and chipmunks... perhaps some small holed chicken wire?? And the don't seem to like the smell of moth balls... best of luck maybe just plant more... enough to satisfy all of you lol
