I know this is a long shot as my memory is hazy but here goes nothing...
I am desperately trying to remember the name of a 1980s comedy movie - probably made for TV.
There was a koala in a tree that provided a commentary throughout.
A guy went on holiday and discovered a tribe that ate a plant that made them hallucinate. He decided to bring this plant back home with him and make candy bars from it.
He took one of the tribe back with him and this guy just got fatter and fatter.
I think there is also a tennis match somewhere towards the end.
