    Probs with family togetherness
I feel that I am not spending enough time with my parents and I'm afraid that I'm deserting them. All I mainly do is skateboard with my friends and creat things on the computerim never really around them that often I've only got 5 more years and then I'm moving out should I spend more time with them or am I doing OK??

If you feel that way that you should follow your gut and spend more time with them. You can find time and I bet even spending time with the like playing a board game, watching a movie together or t.v. show, going out, or talking. I glad to hear your even thinking about this because some children don't.

    Hi fixx's,

I think as you get older you don't spent as much time with your family, you kind of want to do your own thing, your no longer an infant, but your not yet an adult... sometimes a difficult place to be.

Most parents know this and really will not worry whether your on the PC or doing something with you're mates, they know it's all part of growing up.Their main concern will be for you to stay safe and avoid any kind of conflicked, that may get you in trouble.

This is obviously bothering you ,hence your post, so why don't you suggest a get together or you even cooking for them, you can all sit around the table and catch up on the famliy goings on, followed by maybe a film or even a stroll out together as a family.Next week you could do something different, let them choose.

If you make a decision to at least once a week be together as a family, doing what ever it may be,then you keep the connection in the family bringing you all closer together.

Hey. If you and your parents get along why not spend time with them? Families aren't always great, I for one wish they'd go away more often than I should but still! They won't be there forever.
