Where to buy a tupelo tree?
I have one tree on my place in Maryland that is a tupelo, or Gum tree. It turns the most gorgeous shade of bright red in the fall. I would like to get two more, thinking of these lining the driveway. Where to buy one? Mine doesn't produce seed, maybe it would if there w:confused: as more than one tree? Anyone know of a tree/nursery catalog that has this? It is NOT a Sweetgum with the star shaped leaf and the little gumballs. The leaves are just rounded like an apple tree leaf but very glossy

Wow, pepperidge, like the Bread company? Is this a New England tree then? I was thinking southern, like Tupelo Mississippi

I think the name pepperidge is one of the common names for Nyssa sylvatica.
