    Finding out about scams
What is the page where you can find out if those notices you get that says don't open this or that is a scam or not?

First site on Google was this: http://www.scambusters.org/

Just use the search in the top left to enter a keyword or two from the suspected scam message and see what comes up.

Alternatively, post the message here and we should be able to say if it's a scam or not.

    Another couple places:

    1. www.snopes.com

    2. Good old Google. Put the subject line of the email in Google and you'll probably find out lots about it.

    A few rules of thumb:

If they ask for money up front its mostly likely a scam

If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
