    Monroe piercing infection?
At the risk of sounding completely stupid I'll ask it :p ; I got my monroe pierced a few weeks back & have been taking care of it just as she told me too, but its oozing a whiteish fluid and its reallly swollen, and when I wake up in the morning the skin on the inside has sortof grown over nad I have to pop it through. My piercer says this barbell is the longest she can give me unless she puts a touge ring (barbell) in it and that would look quite stupid I assume :P but anyway I was just wondering if this means its infected or if its normal or what? I'd hate to take it out but I would if it was super infected LOL. So I was just wondering if its infected?
I have my septum eyebrow and ears pierced & I didn't have any problems with those so that why I'm a bit nervous about this one :P.
Advice would help heeeps! Thank you! :D

You will experience different healing times based on the part of the body being pierced. The Association of Professional Piercers has a fantastic brochure available on their site which lists what to expect and how to take care of your new piercing.

What you describe could be a normal part of healing, however, you will need to watch for infections, as with any piercing. Read their "Aftercare Brochure" and make sure you are cleaning it as described. See a Doctor if needed.
