Ok so I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, the day after I went and got the morning after pill... (this was like on a Monday or tuesday). That Sunday I started taking birth control... Lately I have been having a dark brown sometimes dark red discharge.. its been going on for 3 days and counting. I have no cramps, no back pain, and no stomach pains... I don't know what's going on... :confused:

These are all normal side effects of the Plan B contraceptive (morning after pill).

I am sure you also understand that you have to be on the "pill" for a full month before having unprotected sex. Also that the pill and even the morning after pill is not 100 percent effective.

U say you started taking birth control. Did you just start taking the pill without waiting for the first day of your period as that can cause some bleedind. I found when I first started taking the pill, if I missed a few days ( wasn't used to taking it) or started or finished on the wrong day, then I used to have like a mini period which sounds like what you are explaining

This could be due to starting the pill,your body needs to ajust to it and is most likely to cause early and different type bleeding.give it a month or 2 and it should start to get back to normal
