    Looking for biological parents
I am looking for my biological parents. I was born in Newark, NJ on 08/31/64 and adopted through Catholic Charities. I was surrendered on 09/02/64. I have a little information about my biological parents. Is there anyone out there looking for their son?

Check with Catholic Charities in Newark and the surrounding areas. They would have a record of the adoption, and possible information about your birthparents. They may ALSO have a letter from your birthparents giving you contact information for them--IF your birthparents have chosen to leave said letter.

You can also check with the courthouse in the county you were adopted/born. Birthparents are sometimes allowed to leave letters in your file for you, in case you are looking for them.

Register on search/reunion sites--adoption.com and isrr are two great resources for trying to match up with a birthparent/relinquished child.
