    Motion for discover
I have tried to find a general form regarding motion for discover to send to the law firm that has summoned me for a 1996 credit card debt. I am not sure if a need a court approved form or if I can just draft something up on my own. I live in Ohio and I do believe the SOL has expired. Any information or ideas would be appreciated.

If you have been instructed to answer, it does not require any specific form.

Just reply that you deny the debt, ask for validation, ask for proof that they are legally able to collect the debt, and state that you intend to defend the suit.

Send it via certified, return receipt requested mail and keep a copy so you can prove it was answered in time.

If they still intend to go forward with the suit, you will be notified of the hearing date.
