    Internet Conversations and Boyfriends
Hey, I read a conversation my boyfriend was having with this girl that lives in another province. He was lying to her, saying he was moving to the same city as she was and she asked him if he would miss home and he replied "Probably Not". I know that he has no intentions of moving away and I know that he would miss home if he did decide to move away. I can't understand why he would lie. What could be the reasons for his dishonestness? I know, there's not a chance in the world, that he's actually moving. I'm mind boggled!

There's no way we could know. Only you can by talking to him about it.

There really isn't a reason we can give you as to why he did those things. You can only find out by asking him, communication is the foundation of any relationship, without it you have nothing

Maybe he was lying to the girl for whatever reasons. This could be a game to him and it's not good. Sometimes you think you know people but you really don't.

No one can tell you exactly what he was thinking but there are conclusions you can see from what he did.

He wanted to lie & did. The fact that it's a stupid lie makes it even more likely he would lie about a lot more important things.

He wanted her to think he was going to be close to where she lived, most likely so she wouldn't feel it's a total waste of her time to give him attention.

He told her he wouldn't miss his old life because he wanted to signal to her that there was nothing important there to hold him back from a great new life in the other city with a new "friend". His answer also makes it clear that he had no intention of telling her he already has a girlfriend I would bet.

If he is doing this with woman from a ways away, it might not be too long before he decides that hunting for attention closer to home is a great idea too & lie to women that will be a lot easier for him to meet in person (if he hasn't already).

I think you should do some checking up to see how far this hobby of lying to other women & to you about what he's up to has already gone.

How do you know he was lying?? Stop all assumptions, and speculations, and take it to the horses mouth. Were you snooping??
