Supposed to be light red got goth red? How correct it?
I dyed my hair what was supposed to be a medium brown with red tones. I did the strand test and liked the color so I dyed it; left it on the same amount as the strand test and instead of being the same I came out with hair so RED it is almost PURPLE and I am a very light skinned person so I look like a clown:mad: it has been 3 weeks. How can I fix it. The color remover stuff didn't help. Please help I am trying to find a job but not as a clown:p Thanks

Awww so sorry to hear about that!
When you do a strand test, you should really take strands from all over the head as it's most likely that your hair has some porous bits. You can usually buy porosity levelers (that you spray onto the hair before you apply the colour) from professional hairdressing shops like sally's.

You sometimes need to use the colour remover several times to remove the colour. Also, there are clarifying shampoos that help remove colour too.
If none of those help, try going to a reputable salon where they might bleach it out.

    Good luck!
