I HATE MY COLOUR! Are there any colour stripping products?
Ok so I dyed my brown hair balck about a year ago and since then I have gone over the black every few months because my brown ruts come through very quickly but now I absolutely hate the black and I want to go a natural blondy-brown colour but don't want to strip my hair and ruin it. So basically are there any products I can use (i.e. shampoos, conditioners and leave in products) to take the black off my hair??
    PLEASE HELP ME!!

Hey, I'm in the same situation as you! I've got naturally blonde hair and I dyed my hair black about 5-6 months ago and this was the first perm. Dye I used, but so far it has faded a lot to a deep red/brown colour, wash hair as normal with any shampoo then USE 1 PART LEMON JUICE MIXED WITH 3 PART CLARIFYING CONDITIONER. It worked on my black, and it stripped it to a red/brown colour, enough to dye it to another lighter colour.

It works well on me and I have extremelly thin hair.
    Good luck! :) xo

Hi - This is a very long post but please read it all... There is a product called Rusk Elimin8 - I warn you it is a little expensive and hard to find, but totally worth it!! In the many years that I have been coloring my hair I have been down the black hair route - this will remove it! I very much recommend being patient and finding it on eBay for cheaper! Depending on how long/thick your hair is get two and save on shipping - It will only remove the chemical color in your hair, not your natural color! I warn you - it smells like the pits of h*ll - but it's really gentle and will not ruin your hair! If it doesn't all come out first time - condition for three days or so and do it again. I recently removed very dark brown in order to go red and it took almost all the color out first try and I was left with NATURAL roots! Start from the ends and work your way up, you have more chemical hair dye deposited in your ends because they are porous and suck up the most dye. You will have to be very very careful RE-DYEING because of that very reason (this is where I screwed up and got very dark ends and lighter roots - which is a WHOLE other story! )

I recently used Color Oops from L'oreal because I was was going to a reunion and didn't have time to wait for Elimin8 to get shipped to me - it worked but it took three applications to get the dark ends out! It is another option - but it's not as strong and I don't know if it will get black out.

Hope this helps - keep me posted!
