Faucet won't turn off after fixing a leak
I had a small leak and tried to fix it myself, first replacing O-rings, then taking the insides of the faucet to a hardware store to find a replacement. This is a Delta faucet with two handles, one for hot and one for cold. After being assured that the replacement part was the correct one, I took it home and installed it. When I finished I turned the water back on from underneath the sink, and now the water won't turn off (except by using the shutoff valve under the sink). The faucet worked fine yesterday, except for the small leak, so I don't think the problem could be corrosion. I tried putting back in the old piece I had before buying the replacement, and the water still will not shut off using the handle. Help, please! I have company coming tomorrow!
