    Honeywell RTH230B blowing hot air
I installed the Honeywell RTH230B in the fall and just switched to air except it only blows out hot air. It is not displayed in the setup.

There are for additional wires, blue, black, brown and orange. I don't know if they have anything to do with why no cool air is blowing or not. I have the red in the Rh but don't know if something should go in the Rc or not or which one. I have a gas unit and the unit is model CPE2+-1A made by Goodman Manufacturing. I have no idea what I should do to fix this issue.

    This is my current setup
    Rh - red
    Rc - jumper
    Yellow - yellow
    Green - green
    White - white

I have no idea what to do with the blue, black, brown or orange to make this blow cold air.

    Help it's hot!

Seems you have a heat pump system, and the Honeywell RTH230B will not control a heat pump system.

You will need to open the heat pump control panel, find the wiring diagram, make note of the stages of cooling, aux heat, reversing valves, and emergency heat, that may exist and find a thermostat compatible with your unit.

See if you can find the website for the manufacturer of your unit, there they may tell you which stat you need.
