We turned on our T.V. and had no sound. All connections have been checked and the Direct TV Satellite has been reset. There is no sound just from the TV or through the speakers.
We do get sound when using the VCR/DVD.
Our normal setting is TivoHD but no sound. When change to just Tivo we get sound. But we have always had it set to TivoHD.

The TV was on earlier with no problems.

Couple of things come to mind, VCR, DVD, and Tivo work, Satellite doesn't(audio cables, Mute).
I bet Mute on satellite remote.

Thank you Stratmando! We did try the mute but was not it, BUT, we just found the problem. It was the HDMI cable, we replace it and now we have sound!
