    Eating times
How many hours should you not eat for before you go to sleep, I heard it is three?
Also, should you eat first thing in the morning or should you exercise and shower first and then eat? (Should you mainly exercise before or after meals?)

As a rule of thumb, I stop eating at 7pm... Although I don't usually go to bed until 12 or 1... But that will change because of the new second job.

I usually eat then exercise. You'll have more energy for the workout if your body is properly nutritionized! (I know that's not a word!) :P

I never believed in the "don't eat before bed" thing... you may be sleeping, but your body is still burning calories as you're sleeping.

I don't suggest you feast before bed, but if you're hungry, grab a fruit... it's fine.

In the morning, grab something light (bananas are great) before a workout, then get breakfast. Eating starts your metabolism, but you don't want to eat heavily before a workout, as you might get cramps.

I heard that exercising before meals esp breakfast makes you lose more weight however when you eat you just put it back on? I think what sneeze suggested is your best bet. If you aren't big on eating bananas maybe make a healthy fruit smoothie or banana smoothie - just skim milk and a banana tastes really good.

Thanks for your advice. I did a diet before where I would just have say 2 wheatabix and some semi- skimmed milk (I have never ever drank any other type of milk like full fat, only semi-skimmed or semi skimmed goats milk which most people think is gross but tastes exactly the same :D) and then done say an hour of like a workout video and then after had two small slices of brown soda bread and tuna mayonaise and about 2 hours later had a big bowl of mixed fruit and then walked my dog for an hour with my dad and finally had dinner later that night with one piece of fruit after. That worked really well for the time I done it but its really tiring haha :D

Oh, yeah... you're definitely not eating enough for the workouts you're doing. You're burning more than you're consuming, which is good for losing weight, but sometimes, if you really don't eat enough, you'll pass out (... I did... a few weeks ago).

I suggest you come up with a decent diet that has enough calories to maintain your workouts, but you're still in the deficit... and add enough protein, carbs, fats, and vitamins to maintain your physique.

I have been going to weight watchers for 2 years and my leader told us, eating late at night is like throwing a log on dying fire, it just sits there till morning, I still cannot forgot that statement
