I got a tetnus shot on Thursday and at the injection site is the size of a small plum and very hard and hot. Is this a normal reaction or should I go and get it checked out?

With any symptoms out of the ordinary I would go see my medical provider or at least call your local hospital emergency room or urgent care center to speak with the doctor on call. It could be contributed to a number of things. It may be nothing but until that is confirmed seek medical attention as soon as possible.

This is a normal reaction and may take some time to reduce in size.
