Hello, I have a Harbor Breeze Fan and Harbor Breeze switch on the wall that is a light dimmer and ceiling fan controller. The wires coming from the ceiling are Black, white, & red. The HB Fan has a remote to it as well..

I want to use both the wall switch and remote.. I connected the remote white & black wires to the ceiling black and white wires. The Blue and Orange wires are for the upper and lower lights.

Question: where does the red wire from ceiling connect to? Does it connect to both the Orange and Blue?

IN MOST CASES You cannot use a wall switch AND a remote.
