Nice warm bath and a good flea comb would help for starters or hold the puppy over a tub of water and comb it, fleas will fall in and be gone make sure to add some soap or they will crawl out. If your house is infested you will have to treat it. Wash the puppys bedding in hot water to rid it of eggs.

Our vet told us we could give our tiny puppies a warm bath with a dime size amount of Dawn dish soap. Just the original brand, not the ones with bleach or highly concentrated. It worked like a charm and we now use that on all our dogs.
