    Can a flon get unemployment?
If I was fired from a job because they found out that I had a felony, after already being there for a week, am I eligible to receive unemployment ? I placed on the application that I had ben involved in trouble and answered NOTHING falsely.

Am I eligible also for any other things because I am a convicted felon?:o

Thank you so much for your help... :o

What other "things" are you thinking about? Student loans? Something else?

If you were fired through no fault of your own and had enough working weeks to qualify for unemployment insurance you are eligible. What State? Your felony conviction has nothing to do with collecting unemployment under those circumstances.

I'm a little confused - you were asked on the application if you had any arrests/convictions, you answered yes, they hired you and found out you had a felony and fired you - ?

Just out of idle curiosity - is it a possession of stolen property charge? If you are in Arizona you must work 2 quarters (basically) of the past year in a qualifying job.

To receive unemployment you have to have worked something like at least 3 months or more.

In Virginia, you must work 30 days full time before being eligible for unemployment benefits. That is only if they fired you for no cause.

If you have worked other places besides this and have unemployment credits paid in, you "may" now the issue, did the application you filed out, ask, have you ever been convicted of a felony, if you put ANY thing else besides YES, then they may be able to fire you for lying on the application,
I have been into trouble, does not answer the question exactly,

But what ayou can do is file and let them either deny or accept your application for unemployment
