I been off the depo needle for about 4 months now and I was wondering could I be pregnant? I have weird symptoms like a heavy feeling in my abdomen and my period is 12 days late but I took a test 7 days ago and it said negative. I also had a yeast infection a week ago so I was wondering if that could have caused all my symptoms?

Whenever you have unprotected sex, it it possible that you could be pregnant, especially if you have continued to have unprotected sex after you took your pregnancy test.
Have you seen an Gynecologist for these symptoms? It would be wise to do so. Your body could be readjusting to not being on depo, or there could be something else. See a doctor, and have all tests done.

If you are pregnant, it won't show up on the test this early, you will have to wait a bit. But I was on the depo for a while and what is going on is your body is trying to get back to normal so a little bit of pain and your period being late would explain that. Depo is really hard on the body... I gained 32 pounds and got acme after 6 months because all my body was trying to do is get rid of the hormones that crazy needle injected. Lucky I recouporated 8 months after the shot. If you have been on it for a minimal of six months or more these symptoms can be normal... yeast infection too. Sometimes bladder infections can give you the strong abdominal pains too. If you have having unprotected sex, yeast infections, bladder infections and pregnancy can all be a result. Boys carry a lot of bacteria, try to pee (even a drop) after sex to prevent future infections. Finally, if you are not regular with the pills, that can happen too. You can take a blood test for pregnancy and that is accurate... 12 days is concerning.
