Hi people!
I need some help and answers, I only want to know the truth about what do men and women think of strech marks.. its making me fee insecure and not sexy at all.
A guy invited me to take some pics of me, they wannit to put a new product in the market.
So I just couldn't, I want you to imagine quick, what will you think when you see a women on the beach in her bikini full of strech marks, I have it bad people, like all over my tummy my hips and a little in my inner thight..
But any way just imagine, come on people I need some serios answers I can't go on like this, I'm freakin only 20y, and ruled by this .
Any she is well shaped except for the strechmarks.. what would you think.
Jis people I want to use my body but I don't know what other people will think..
Help me please. Or must I just cover it up for the rest of my fu***ing life?

Just wear a regular two piece... that is what my brothers in law's wives did and they were good looking women who looked fabulous in their swimsuits.

Hi lovy... your making too much of this... so what you have stretch marks ,lots of people do.

I can truthfully say that I have never heard anyone comment on anyone else's stretch marks. What seems obvious to you is not necessarily obvious to anyone else.

If it bothers you that much why don't you try some of the cover up makeup creams you can buy especially for blemishes etc...

I imagine you can buy them in any department store where they sell beauty products and toiletries. You will need to get a colour as close as possible to your natural skin colour, give it a try...

Some people say rubbing a cream or oil into the stretch marks softens the outline of them, so I'd give that ago as well.

I think because you know they are there, you imagine that it's some kind of disfigurement that every one will look at, really it's yourself drawing all the attention to them.

TRy forgetting about them for a bit, you'll then realise how insignificant they really are.

I have tried a few things that eliminated over 90% of my stretch marks, I will come back and give you the product info on the big product. But in the mean time they have Plamers coca butter (new and improved) works good and Bio Oil, works good too. I use a combination of stuff and I have noticed a huge difference but it will take like 6 months to notice the 90% difference. Within a week you will see improvement. Exfoliate, exfoliate and exfoliate! That's just tidbits for you to make yourself feel better in the meantime. But guys don't really care about stretch marks, I wear two piece and could care less. I have a beautiful baby girl and to me they are just simple reminders of one of the best accomplishments in my life... the end product was all worth it and I am going have another one. My pregnancy was hard I gained 90 pounds so I had a lot too, the ones on my thighs and inner legs are GONE!! Try it.

WOW, wow, chill out little run away train. This is not the end of the world. I mean personally some women look actually sexyer with strech marks. How so, because we are a spiecies that has the capabilities to over come primal and natural instincts, we also have the capabilaties to over come Acquired tastes. For me, strech marks are an implication that a women has had children, and since I'm a guy who wants kids, and a women who loves her children that is sexy to me. Some people think it's not so sexy but they too have reasons. It really is up to you to decide weather you can be sexy with the marks, even if you can get rid of most of it you'll probably end up with some, but it's not any thing to feel ashamed of or afraid of? DO you have a significan't other? Are they still attracted to you? Etc. I mean really, is this fear reasonable? If so please do explain.
Also I have a firned, one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen, sieriously. This girl has a killer everything. She had a baby, and she is still the most beaustiful women I've ever seen. So to answer your question, I'd probably not even notice your strech marks even if I saw you standing right in front of me, and I'm a fairly observant guy, most of the time any way. Other times I'm as blind as a bat in day light. Haha.

Get a grip! They usually change after 6 months to a year from pink/blue colour to fine white/clear marks that are barely noticeable. If it makes you feel better moisturise them. They are very normal and natural - fat girls skinny girls tall and short anyone can get them. Don't stress!

Who cares?

Caring about stretch marks on a person would be like caring that they have a scar on their elbow from falling off a bike when they were 10 years old.

The only people that care are shallow people, in my opinion.

Stretch marks are sexy!! I look good with 'em!!

Like don't worry about your strechmarks I am a bigger male with stechmarks but it doesn't keep me from anything personally strechmarks are hot!!

I hope you end up feeling like I about strechmarks

And if anyone makes comments ignore them.

Most guys don't fixate on blemishes like stretch marks. It might keep you out of Playboy but not out of the hearts of the average guy. Yeah there will be a few guys that take exception to it but those guys are good to avoid anyway.

I didn't intend that. Just pointing out your average guy cares as much about your stretch marks as they do what brand shoes you are wearing. Which is to mean they may notice them but don't give them a second thought. Women tend to be harder on themselves about their flaws than guys are. There are things that can minimise them. Like exercise to firm up the mid section and a few other things. Not exactly sure but one of my neighbors used to have quite noticeable stomach area stretch marks but has worked out and its hard to notice them any longer. And she is nearly 40, not 20. Haven't spoken with her in a long time (few years actualy) so haven't had a chance to ask what she did.

My advise is don't stress about it. Odds are the people in your life aren't.

Hi! I can sympathize with you. I felt that way about mine as well. I can understand what your probably thinking, we've heard the comments friends or others make about strangers and you wonder if someone out there is doing the same to you, looking and thinking OMG LOOK AT HER!! I can understand why you don't like them, but don't lose hope I can tell you what works for me and helps me out. Firstly, I have them everywhere because I was so thin before getting pregnant, but the other girl was right strivectin DOES WORK. I ddidn't use it like I was suppose and had to stop because I got pregnant again, but I noticed the less deep less bad ones were completely gone!! The rest lightened and regained a little bit, but I still have them, that's onlly because I couldn't finish the product and I didn't use it exactly as I should have either! So if you are looking for a way to abolish them then that's the way to go. It's a little pricy I think but not ridiculous and trust me it is worth it. Second, I've walked around showing off my stretch marks and have heard girls makes nasty remarks, HOWEVER, those same girls later got mad at me for their boyfriends hitting on me, lol. Goes to show men love eyes, faces, booties, boobs, legs, everything. Not all men will be okay with stretch marks just because skin might be a big thing to them just like some men are really big on girls with big boobs or with brunettes or blondes, butts, etc... but most men aren't too bogged down by it. If you do decide to take these pictures, be prepared for someone to make nasty remarks simply that's what people do, when someone is put in some sort of limelight, they will pick them apart, like vultures. I don't know why but they do. But if you can handle some of the negative then go for it. If you had huge boobs there would be people saying OMG LOOK AT HER, THEY ARE JUST TOO BIG! But it depends on who's looking. Another option, I've heard that getting a tan can help them look minimal, but don't take my word, I'm not sure. ONE GREAT POSITIVE THING THAT WILL COME OF TAKING THE PICTURES!! You will love you. Many women go through the same thing at some point because well most of us have kids and then get stretch marks to different degrees. Seeing a beautiful woman in photos with stretchmarks sends a message. It says I am beautiful I am sexy and I know it, I'm so hot that even stretch marks don't bring down a level. That confidence radiating out someone tends to create a zone of acceptance where people who see you think of you as that sexy goddess as opposed to the mom who used to have a pregnant belly. My vote GO FOR IT!! If anything ask the photographer to airbrush them out, lol if you really are worried. It's normal to feel like that. But not everyone sees what you see

Stretch marks are not exactly a quality that I look for in women, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's something I can't overlook. I've been with a few that have them. No biggy.

There is no way to get rid of stretch marks. Although in time they will fade to a nice silverish shade, and therefore will be less noticeable! As for what other people think, What do you think when you see a person with stretch marks?

Love and accept yourself first... and don't make a thing about them. Some guys do find them attractive.

Lts put it in some perspective... I have a lady friend who was seriously overweight and reduced her weight by 10st. The loose skin is a "lot more" than just stretch marks... but she's one lovely, sexy, confident person.

Don't beat yourself up

Hey lovy. I am also 20 (well this Saturday I will be). I started college last year and it's true what they say about the freshmen 15. Before college, I wasn't exactly skinny, but I wasn't overweight. I danced a lot. When I started college, I wasn't really watching what I was eating and I didn't have much physical activity since I stopped dancing. Low and behold, by the end of the year, I had gained 15 pounds. I noticed that I had stretch marks on my hips and thighs. However, I don't let it get to me. Yes, I am self-conscious of them, but if you don't let it bother you, then no one will care. If you draw attention to it, like wrapping a towel around you and never taking it off at the beach may draw attention. So when you finally do remove the towel, people will probably wonder what you were trying to hide and look for something. If you are self-conscious, then do something about it. There are plenty of creams and lotions out there that can fix it. But everyone has them, especially in today's sedentary lifestyle that Americans have created. Be confident!! It's your body, love it just the way it is.
