Child support and Deductions
I was divorced nov 30 2006. I have three children and the ex pays 500 each. However, he makes well over 200,000 a year. The boys eat 500 of groceries per week. When can I ask for more child support and how do I do it. (Tampa, Florida) Also, our home is going into foreclosure. I have been a stay at home mom for almost 20 years and I am almost 50 now. I am having a hard time to find a job in this economy. The alimony is not nearly enough to support my children and myself. The judge also gave me the lawyers bill and not the ex. (long story short-good ole boy system in tampa) But none the less, Can I seek more alimony due to hardship and his ability to pay? How do I do it? And can I do it in another county where my ex, the lawyers and the judges are not all friends? I can't use the lawyer I had, (he stunk) and I am now obligated to pay him over 140,000...
Also, the judge also awarded the ex to take all three kids as his deduction. Which means I have no deductions and all three kids live with me and see him every other weekend. Also, the state reimbursed the people in Florida a stimilus check. We did not receive one.
Thank you.
