We were purchasing a trailer from someone.. I lost my job.. So we found a nother couple to take over the leas. We missed 3 trailer payment.. and couldn't pay our lot rent. We have to move it to a other rv park.. then we gave it over to the new couple.. the owners now know about it.. Can we be charged with grand theft auto? We didn't stole anything and we also lost all the money we paid into it.. anyone has any real info on this matter?

There may be fraud if you cheated someone out of money

But each state has its own laws, for example in some states there is no law called that at all, it would merely be theft over ( 1000 or 5000) or it would be something else.

From my understanding, you were behind on trailer payments, owed rent on space, you then moved the trailer and sold it to someone else?
To sell it, you would have to have a clear title to it or pay off the loan?

We didn't stole any money or property.. we had to move the trailer because the owners of the RV park told us too. And also we gave to the owners our title to our car just in case something happen to us. The new people who purchasing a trailer has a new contract with the owner of the trailer.. We didn't sold it we just gave to trailer over to the people who wanted it. Because we knew we can't afford it anymore.. I tried to contact them today 3 times they told us to f. ourself.. and the owners of the trailer don't answer our calls.. We thought we made the best decision so nobody get riped off. This all happened in FL. Now there are rummers around that we got charged with stilling it.. How when they can take our car away any time.. they got the title.. and we do not have any penny of theirs.. . I just don't understand.

Again, don't kow why you let anyone have your car title, but if they own the car ( have the title) they can come and get it when they want.

AS for as the other, it sounds like you were buying and selling without doing it though an attorney and not perhaps following all of the proper rules on purchase and sell.

I can see where if possible you may be sued for money you owe them on unpaid payments, If you did not have permission to move it, maybe being sued for that. But it sounds all civil from what you are saying.
