What do I do to stop water coming out of the toilet overflow pipe?
Water doesn't come out of the overflow pipe, it goes into it. Please restate your problem.
JC,
Look at tha amges which type of ballcock is installed inside your toilet tank and tell us where is the water coming from, Thanks.
John
Well you usually make a float adjustment. Lowering the float will make the ballcock stop sooner, in a 400a you tighten the screw above the fill valve. Keep adjusting until the water level stops 1" below the top of the overflow pipe. Your post was a bit vague so I hope you weren't talking about the refill tube.
You reset the tank level. I set the tank level by adjusting the height of the float ball.Quote:

Bend the rod up to increase the tank level and down to decrease the level. The tank level should be set at 1/2 inch under the top of the white overflow tube. Good luck, Tom
