    Goal: to gain weight!
I know people have asked this 100's of times, I've googled it 100's of times, but some things are not asked.

    So these are my questions.

1.) What's the difference between calories and fat calories? Which one adds to the amount of calories I need?

2.) a calorie calculator says I need to gain over 3200 calories a day. Its impossible! Well maybe not for people who eat 3 meals a day, but I don't, there's never any food. When I can, I go to mcdonalds and eat everything I can.

Does anyone know any foods that have a lot of calories? Im not concernced with how healthy it is at this point.

Im trying not to be too active so I don't burn calories, I make drinks that have 700 calories in them but they are really tough to drink so I can only drink one a day.

I heard protein drinks are good, should I check into those?

    Any pointers would be good

OK. A calorie is a measurement of energy. Here's a list you might have seen:

    1 gram of fat = 9 calories
    1 gram of protein = 4 calories
    1 gram of carbohydrates = 4 calories
    1 gram of alcohol = 7.1 calories

Alcohol and fat are the "heavy hitters" for calories.

    2.) <snip>

OK here is a list of foods to get you going:

    • Hard liquor
    • Butter
    • Whole Milk and Cheese
    • Fatty Red Meat
    • Cooking Oil
    • Nuts
    • Mayonnaise
    • Fried Foods
    • Sweets

Maintain a sedintary lifestyle and you are on your way to gaining weight.

Consuming a lot of fat (9 calories per gram) and alcohol is the way to go. By the way, if you follow what I have mentioned above your health will suffer tremendously and you will have a shorter life span.

NOTE: If you want to gain muscle mass ("good" weight) and not fat then you want to do resistance excercises, cardio and focus on protein, complex carbs, fruits and veggies.

    Didn't realize you are underage.

    I retract the alcohol part.

I retract everything except the "NOTE" section.

    Peace.

Why are you trying to gain weight? Gaining weight while not being active is extremely unhealthy for anyone of any age. Follow the "Note" section in the first post to gain weight healthily. You'll feel better and be stronger.

If you're a skinny kid like I was though, you might find weight gain extremely difficult because you have a very high metabolism. This is not a bad thing in the long run trust me. What it means is that if you do exercise a lot, what you get is a lot of very lean and strong muscle that surprises the crap out of people when they realize that you are far from weak.
