Recording one dvd to another dvd
A Friend Recorded A Program[on A Dvd] For Me On A Dvd Player/recorder Which Unfortunately Is The Only Dvd Device Which Will Read/play The Dvd. Is There Any Way To Either Record Direcly From The Recorder/player The Dvd Was Origanlly Burned From To Another Dvd Recorder/player, Or Hook Up The Original Dvd Recorder/player To A Tv And Then Hook Up Another Dvd Player/recorder To The Tv And Record It That Way. Or Any Other Options To Get The Dvd Transferred To A Dvd Which Can Be Played On All Dvd Devices? Thanks For Your Advice And Help, Andrew

If it is recorded in the wrong format, you would have to re-record it from the source.

If you copy that DVD, you just continue the problem to another disc.

I'll try to answer some of your questions.
First was the DVD finalized on the dvd it was recorded, if it wasn't it will only play on the dvd it was recorded on.
Next make sure it is DVD -R or +R recordable disk.
Make sure its selected to correct input.
Other than that it should work. Follow directions in book.
