    Which closet bend to use?
I see these three from Mueller, but the pictures all look the same, and the descriptions are all the same... which do I want?

Hello, either one will work except the 53108 comes with a nock out plug. Good luck -------Zeke

Photos show all 3 closed bends in upsided down position... These bends are mostly used in upper floors installations where space is tight.

    Photos are:

First one is Hub x short spigot
Second one is Hub x spigot
Third one is Hub x spigot with test plug

As truck41 said all three will work for you. If you have limited space, use Hub x short spigot. Otherwise, Use Hub x spigot. If you have to do static test on your new sewer/vent lines for City Inspector than use Hub x spigot with test plug.

No matter which one you use you will need 4" ABS closet ring with metal rim. You will glue this ring into the spigot end and secure it to the floor.

I want the spigot end to have a little vertical room to work with, so I get my flange set just right on the finished floor, so I don't think I'll get the short spigot. I can cut off the excess when I set the flange. Thanks for your help!

Hey guys - if I want a closet flange that fits over the 4" spigot end of the bend, I need to get a "hub" fit closet flange right? Such as this? Reason for so many questions is I have to order my ABS parts because local stores don't have them, and I don't want to get my order wrong.

Yes, you are correct. You need "closet flange" to fit over the spigot end. The one you selected is a good one. Home Depot carries it. I believe it sells for $5.00.
