    Their taking my house
My grandma willed me and my brother home in 1997. While I was in prison my mom and brother changed the deed and put only his name on it. What can I do?

You will have to hire an attorney to resolve this, too many legal issues for you to try to take on by yourself.

Do you have other specific questions?

I agree that hiring a good real estate attorney is really about your only course of action in this case. I'm sure motions will have to be files. What they did may be a criminal offense. Something like this is very complicated and the right steps need to be followed so you don't lose your case because of some stupid technicality.

I don't know much about this but it would seem that someone had to sign for you somewhere along in the process. Maybe you could start with the registrar of wills and if they can't help they should be able to refer you to the proper office to see the documents, that should explain what happened. Maybe a title company could research it for a reasonable fee.
I can't tell if they did something in the will process or made it a transfer after the will was probated.

They had to commit forgery and that's a criminal offense. Gather your evidence and go to your local DA -

Only your grandma can change her will, your mom and brother may talk with her and help her to change it.

Please supply more details on what has happened.

It looks to me like the Grandmother died and the mother and brother changed the Deed (not the will) - ?

As I said, he never actually said grandma has died, and was the will changed before or after she died, ( if she is dead)

They may have just talked grandma to write him out of the will while he was in prison. Just to many maybes
