I am continuously comparing myself with other girls.
I want people to compliment me like they used to.
I compare many times because I question why I am sixteen and I have never had a boyfriend.
Something is wrong with me.

If you feel beautiful and confident then there is no need to compare yourself.
If that picture is of you, you are absolutely gorgeous. In the teen years, most girls are uncomfortable in their skin. And if you are more mature than your age (which it sounds like you are), the boys your age are probably too immature for you. Now, this does not mean that you should be dating 18 and 19 year olds, not by any means. Simply learn to love yourself and be comfortable in your own skin, and the right one will come along!
As long as you are focused on your appearance and how other people think of your appearance, you will always find something to be unhappy about. Self-adoration is a loser hobby.
At 16 it isn't too young to start looking for ways to make your contribution TO the world. Your looks will fade... accept that now and find things to do with yourself that will also garner praise from others but won't stop because you can do it forever.
"Ask not what others think of your appearance, ask what you can do to better the world around you."
I completely understand, I used to do this all the time.
But people see you differently than you see yourself, if that makes sense, so you might think you look worse than someone else, but actually you don't. Or of course vice versa.
You just need to remember that you are individual, not anyone else.
And guessing that is you in the picture, you don't need to worry about it. You are stunning!
