98 Honda Civic EX won't start
Car sat for 7 months while I was in Iraq, was started (not driven) maybe twice in that 7 months (the individuals have been spoken to that where supposed to maintain it for me). Replaced battery when I returned and toped off fluids. Car ran but acted strange the first 2-3 times I drove it. Gauges would flip around spuraticly, my ABS light in my cluster would come on for 10-15 secs while driving, then go out, CD player would just shut off and come back on 4-5 seconds later, all at random. Then all the odd behaviour just stopped, the car ran fine for about 4 weeks.
Yesterday, as I was driving home, I turned on and off my headlights in rapid succession to signal a vehicle that he could get over into my lane. When I did this My CD player cut off, and came back on, and my gauge cluster pegged out and returned to normal. I thought it was odd but thought nothing of it.
Well this morning I went to start my car, and As I turned the ignition I heard/saw a sort of a "pop" in the car itself as it started to turn over, and then nothing, No gauge lights, no wipers, no headlights, no CD player, No solenoid clicking over, no nothing, when I turn the key. The car's a 5-speed and yes I had the clutch pressed in :). I didn't have much time this morning, (it's a PT day, so I couldn't be late) but I checked the main fuse box under the hood and no fuse's are blown.
I'm at a loss and I didn't want to go buy an new starter soleniod, or an alternator, or have something re-wired or all 3 if this could be narrowed down to things to check tonight, or the problem even pinpointed. I appreciate your time and any help anyone can give me.

Did you check your fuse box under the dash?

Other than that, I really don't know what to suggest.

I didn't even know there was a fuse box under the dash. Is that driver side, or passanger side?

Driver's side. Under the steering wheel, there should be a panel that you remove to access the fuse box.
