My pull cord is stuck on my weed eater how do I unjam it .

I just changed mine on a Weedeater brand (Poulan) Featherlight Extreme. I just took the motor and shaft apart and took the spool out. A piece of wound flat coil wire gives it tension. If that is bad, you can buy a new one. Check with your small engine shop.
