    Toilet flush not woking properly
    I have just had a new toilet fitted it has a dual button even though I push in button and hold for several seconds after the water has finished stuff starts to filter back into the pan the plumbers have fitted another toilet and flush but its still happening quite disgusting really has anyone any ideas

    Flushing is created by two things, initial force pushing down on the level of the water and suction caused by the rushing water through the pipes, cyphon effect. Without both you will get your results. I assume the water is filling quickly enough since it's a new toilet, but is the path free all the way to the major sewer line? Might have it cleared to allow for the cyphon effect to take place...

    Sounds like you have partially blocked drain. Did you have any problems before installation of the new toilet.

    No the old handle style flush toilet was working fine

    Adjust you chain. Shorten it few links. Leave minimum slack.
