Due to various SEC laws both corporate sellers and outside buyers have assurances that markets reflects fairly, offers/bids. Without these exchanges ,stock buying/selling would not be as dynamic as at present.buys,sales and trades are executed within the framework of onerous regulations that must be followed, resulting in less chaos and in a sense freedom to set prices solely on supply and demand.
