Yes, feet fungus is something to worry about, let alone the odor of that condition. Thoroughly wash and dry your feet before going to bed. If necessary gently use a hair dryer to air dry feet. If you are a diabetic, this is a dangerous condition leading to a serious infection. But just the same, serious none the less if left unchecked can turn into open sores which you don't want. I would see your doctor who would prescribe an anti-fungal treatment, or you can purchase an over the counter anti fungal which would effective. I

If you want more indepth information on this c ondition, google.com can offer lots of insight.

I have heard that soaking in mild peroxide for a few nights than soaking in warm soapy water... scrap off loose skin with a foot brush has worked wonders... does not hurt anything to try... lol

    Feet or toe nails?

If it's the feet, like athlete's foot, get Lotrimin AF or any over the counter anti fungal treatment.

My son had athlete's foot on both feet. After he took a shower and dried his feet very well he took 91% isopropol alcohol and sprayed the his feet using a sprayer bottle. He did this for a week and his athlete's foot cleared up and never came back. His Russian friend told him about this as she can't get to a pharmacy over there and only had the 91% alcohol and used that for her foot problem.

You can also try soaking your feet in bicarb of soda solution also. Do this every day for a week and that clears up the fungus.

My friend with Atheletes foot used aloe vera gel for about a week at night, combined with keeping feet dry, and vinegar soaks. He changed his socks at least 1x/day, and used only cotton or wool socks.
After about a week, his feet were on the mend, and he's never had a problem since.

I heard that infared light is good for fungus
As Canuckdude said too use 100% white cotton socks and soak in vinegar. Also balance PH Anti-Aging Report - You can reverse premature aging with pH balancing and oxygenation of your cells with antioxidant supplementation.
