My 12 year old daughter, from a previous marriage, has decided she wants to live with my wife and I. How difficult will it be to change custody when both parents are reliable and responsible? My ex says she will not allow it.

If everybody is in agreement and there is no problem it should be easy enough. Just go file for joint custody and visitations revision.
