    Laptop does not start after logging into a profile
    When I enter the password for my user profile, nothing happens and the laptop does not start. I waited for 1 hour and still nothing. The only change that I made was uninstall some applications.

    Is there any way that I can get to log into my profile :(

    I am using Windows XP.

    Try logging into the ADMIN account, then use the Control Panel to remove the password for the User Account you're having problems with.

    Login without the password until you get it working consistently, then add the password back in.

    Thanks. I have no clue what the problem was. I started the laptop in safe mode. Changed the password and after re-starting, was able to get in. Thanks to you, the problem is solved :)
