We are renters and live in fl a family member moved in with us needing help instead of going and getting a job she sits on my couch all day and has no intention of getting out of our house or getting a job. She is not on the lease and has never paid any money to us all she has done is given us grief. Please help we are willing to evict if can but since we are not the landlord woundering if we can even do it.

How long have they been there? Are they getting mail there? Was there any agreement to contribute to the household?

She has been there 4 months She does get some junk mail and there was a verbal agreement for here to pay 400 a month as soon as she got a job

Ok, you can give her a 3 day pay or vacate notice. If she does neither you can go to court for an eviction order.
