Bad experience with motorcycle dealer what do I do?
    Hi All,

I recently bought a motorcycle with Marshy Motorcycle dealers in Newcastle. The motorcycle is not what I wanted. I took along time for the motorcyle even to be delivered. The motorcylce would not start and I foumd out it had milage when I paid for a new motorcycle. Of let the front tire is wobbly and the kick start and the ignition button would not start the motorcycle.

I have requested for a refund but this has taken one month and I have not received my money back. I paid £1400 for the bike for registeration and delivery. Yet the dealer wants to refund me only £800. What do I do? I wanted to use the bike for commuting to work and would have loved to use it during the sunny period but I still have not yet received the bike.

Why should such companies be allowed to registered with ebbay and internet when they are not genenuine at all. Is it possible to report such companies so that they cannot be registered to sell items via the internet?

I keep calling this company but no one returns my calls and most of the time the phone is being answered by young girl. Wha do I do?

    Regards

Do you have warranty laws where you live? Research them first and see what you can do on your own. But, it may be time for a lawyer.

Hi I also purchased a motorcycle from this dealer, customer service terrible, haven't even been able to have the bike on the road as it dies, Speedo cable not attached, badly assembled,
My bike is now in a local garage being sorted out, marshys said they would pay the costs but now they are backtracking and have told the garage that they will only pay for the parts and not the labour, I am now left with paying for a bike that I already paid extra for to have it assembled, tested and registered.
My next step is to take legal action.
I definitely will not be recommending this company. Sorry can't offer you any advise but your not on your own maybe we should get a petition up to get them removed from the Google no 1 space!!
