I found this site when I search various sites regarding to get help to fill W-8BEN form. I am doing advisory service through liveperson.com

I am in India. They have send this form and request me to fill and send it back.

In part 1 I have filled the required details. In that I don't know what is reference number.

In line 9 I have chosen option -e. (Should I?)

I have checked line line. (Notional Principle contracts).

Reply me as soon as possible. And help me to fill the form.

You should consult the requester of the Form W-8BEN for completing it.

If you are performing services in India, you do not need to complete Part II of the form at all. You should also leave line 11 blank. Leave the reference number blank.

The person requesting the W-8 just wants you to certify that you are not a U.S. person. That is the certification where you sign in Part IV.
